# Blends

## Refining

Refining is the process of purifying [Raw Materials](https://whitedragon.gitbook.io/whitedragon-nft/figurines/types-and-rarities#raw-materials) in order to obtain [Materials](https://whitedragon.gitbook.io/whitedragon-nft/figurines/types-and-rarities#materials). The recipes are as follows but **might be adjusted depending on supply and progress**:

* 3 Soil -> 1 Clay
* 3 Dragon Essence -> 1 Dragon Crystals
* 5 Gold Ore -> 1 Gold Coin

## Sculpting

Sculpting is the process of combining [Materials](https://whitedragon.gitbook.io/whitedragon-nft/figurines/types-and-rarities#materials) into [Figurines](https://whitedragon.gitbook.io/whitedragon-nft/figurines/types-and-rarities#figurines). For Base and Painted [Figurines](https://whitedragon.gitbook.io/whitedragon-nft/figurines/types-and-rarities#figurines), there are 2 options available:

| Type                  | Requirements                                                                                                                                                   | Outcome                                         |
| --------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------- |
| Amateur Craftsmen     | Less [Materials](https://whitedragon.gitbook.io/whitedragon-nft/figurines/types-and-rarities#materials) than Experienced, no Gold Coin needed                  | **No limit** but has **probability of failure** |
| Experienced Craftsmen | Slightly more [Materials](https://whitedragon.gitbook.io/whitedragon-nft/figurines/types-and-rarities#materials) than Amateur, **Gold Coin** needed as payment | **Limited** supply but **guaranteed** outcome   |

For Unique [Figurines](https://whitedragon.gitbook.io/whitedragon-nft/figurines/types-and-rarities#figurines), only the Experienced Craftsmen is available. 

Sculpting for 1 distinct variant of Base and Painted [Figurines](https://whitedragon.gitbook.io/whitedragon-nft/figurines/types-and-rarities#figurines) will be released each week. Once all variants are released, sculpting for all Unique [Figurines](https://whitedragon.gitbook.io/whitedragon-nft/figurines/types-and-rarities#figurines) variants will be released at once during the final week.

Depending on progress, the recipe, supply and failure probabilities might differ weekly. They will be announced in our [Discord](https://discord.gg/whitedragonnft) at least 5 days prior to release.

## Converting

Converting is the process of exchanging [Raw Materials](https://whitedragon.gitbook.io/whitedragon-nft/figurines/types-and-rarities#raw-materials) and [Materials](https://whitedragon.gitbook.io/whitedragon-nft/figurines/types-and-rarities#materials) from a previous season into the following season's variant. Recipes will be dependent on remaining supply.
